Calculating the moon's distance at home

This isn’t a bad primer on parallax. It doesn’t specifically say it out loud but it also falsifies the heliocentric model. I won’t spoil it, watch it for yourself.

It also shows that an inexpensive camera can provide at least 6 arcsecond accuracy.

NO A relatively nearby object, such as the Moon, cannot possibly remain aligned with any distant star whilst an earthly observer and the nearby object (in this case, our Moon) both drift laterally, and perpendicularly to that star’s location, for several million kilometres.
